New Movie Offers Answers on Personal Development and Success

Los Angeles, CA 90035 November 28 2007 - Unlock Your Journey to SuccessThe highly anticipated personal development film, ‘The Power of Mentorship,’ will premiere on December 6th during a red carpet event at the Landmark Theater in West Los Angeles. The film features several teachers from one of the most successful personal development films, ‘The Secret,’ including Bob Proctor, Marie Diamond and Dr. John DiMartini. ‘The Power of Mentorship’ has a dramatic story line infused with lessons from a variety of mentors, each of whom has achieved extraordinary success by applying the lessons they share in the movie.

The movie is a new, independent feature film about a young man's journey from poverty to success. The movie is a passionate, inspirational drama about the inner struggle of a young janitor trying to rise up out of the seemingly endless cycle of poverty and depression. He comes face to face with a man who changes his life forever by giving him great insight into the elements and principles necessary to achieve success.

The cast is lead by veteran publishing mogul Don Boyer and actor Ismael Perez. Many of the mentors featured in the film are high profile motivational speakers, business coaches and entrepreneurs, including Bob Proctor, Marie Diamond and Vic Johnson. Supported by 27 additional mentors, the film provides insights woven into the compelling story, creating a fast-paced and entertaining drama.

The film is a narrative based on a true story. A depressed and saddened janitor is torn between his desire to achieve the ‘American Dream’ and the bleak outlook of the reality of his situation. He questions his chances of ever attaining his dream. The politics of education and doubt play into his life as well as the sense of hopelessness and lack of confidence in his ability.

‘The Power of Mentorship’ movie premiere is a celebration of both the film and the dream that inspired its creation. The producers and directors chose The Landmark Theatre because of its strategic location between the affluent Beverly Hills neighborhood and the rougher, more urban areas of Santa Monica and Hollywood. Boyer noted, “The location is representative of the diverse emotions that run through the movie.”

The media is invited to cover the event. Mentors from the movie will be available for one-on-one Interviews between 2:00pm and 3:45pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1150 S. Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. Limousines will leave the Crowne Plaza at 4:15PM and are scheduled to arrive at the theater at 5PM for the red carpet interviews, which will take place inside the Landmark Theater until 6PM. The actors and mentors available for interviews will be Bob Proctor, Vic Johnson, Marie Diamond, Dr. Tony Alessandra, Mick Moore, Robin Jay and Yasmine Bijan. There will be a personal greeting from Executive Producer Don Boyer at 6:15pm and the movie is set to begin at 6:30PM.

Immediately following the film, each cast member, crew member and sponsor will be announced and brought up on stage to receive an award. A Special Greeting from Bob Proctor, Vic Johnson, Marie Diamond and Tony Alessandra will open the VIP Party immediately following the film and awards presentation.
